Leadership & Management

OEU is led collaboratively by a senior leadership group that comprises the Vice Chancellor, the Deputy Vice Chancellors, Deans of Schools and Directors of Departments.

Administration

  1. Vice-Chancellor: The chief executive officer of the university.
  2. Deputy Vice-Chancellors: Assist the Vice-Chancellor in administrative matters
  3. Registrars: Responsible for administrative and academic support services
  4. Bursars: Responsible for financial management and planning.

Academic structure

  1. Faculties: The university is divided into several faculties, each responsible for a specific group of academic disciplines.
  2. Departments: Each faculty is further divided into departments, which are responsible for teaching and research in specific subjects.
  3. Centers and Institute: The university has several centers and institutes that focus on specific research areas or provide specialized training.

Support Services

  1. Library: Provides access to academic resources, including books, journals, and online databases.
  2. Student-Affairs: Responsible for student welfare, including accommodation, health services, and counseling
  3. Information and Communication Technology (ICT): Provides technical support and maintains the university's IT infrastructure.

Other Units

  1. Security Unit: Responsible for maintaining law and order on campus.
  2. Health Services: Provides medical care and health education to students and staff.
  3. Sports and Recreation: 3. Responsible for promoting sports and recreational activities on campus.
